Configuration

Addon settings are configured in the Manage Addons form.

BorrowingEnabled	True	Boolean	Controls whether borrowing requests are processed for automatical renewal.
LendingEnabled	True	Boolean	Controls whether lending requests are processed for automatical renewal.
LendingRenewalDueDate		String	Specifies a renewal due date for Lending requests. If this is blank, the addon will default to use normal due date plus the number of days defined in the LendingRenewalDateDays customization key. If a date is provided for this setting, the addon will consider the provided date and the default date and will prefer the latter of the two. Example: “2020-04-15”.
NVTGC		String	Comma-separated list of NVTGCs to process. Please list out all NVTGCs as they would appear in the NVTGC field on the User form. If left blank, the addon will process transactions from all NVTGCs.

Borrowing

The Addon runs on any requests added to the Renewal Requested. Renewed by Customer to mm/dd/yyyy or Renewed by ILL Staff to mm/dd/yyyy queues. It will automatically send the OCLC renewal request and return the request to Checked Out to Customer status. You will still need to process the renewal response from the lending library as before you have before.

Lending

The Addon sends the OCLC renewal Yes response to any requests that come into the Awaiting Renewal Request Processing queue. Requests will then be returned to the Item Shipped queue. The Addon can be configured to use your default renewal due date or you can provide an override for all new due dates (e.g. all requests renewed until 6/1/2020).
