As of Ares v5.0, addons are no longer installed by default. The default addon installation was known as the Atlas Helpers Library. Some addons, such as VuFind or Amazon Book Searches, are dependant on other addons to run properly.

Description

Contains helper methods for use with user addons.

This Addon was included by default when Ares was installed prior to v5.0.

Configuration

The Atlas Helper’s Library is installed like any other addon:

  1. Download and extract the files (AtlasHelpers.lua and Config.xml) from the zip file

  2. These files will extract to an Atlas folder by default. The folder containing the Atlas Helper files must have this name

  3. Move the Atlas folder containing the files to the Ares addon directory (Default location: C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Ares\Addons)
